Stranded With Cash Peters
Guest Author - Sandy Mullins

Mondays at 9:00 P.M. ET/PT, on The Travel Channel is a new quirky travel show, called Stranded With Cash Peters. Cash Peters is the author of (Gullible’s Travels) and a travel correspondent of National Radio’s Marketplace. The premise of the show is drop Cash off in some country, with no money, food, room and no idea where he is. He literally is seen asking people where he is, what city and country. Some cities are of course a little easier for him to figure out. The first episode we caught, he was dropped of in Moscow the second episode we caught he was dropped of outside of Deadwood South Dakota.

The only flaw I see with this show is that if he had been dropped off without a camera crew (don’t know how many, but there had to be at least one), would the people have been as generous? Cash Peters has a perky attitude that warms up to just about anybody. He has people buying him food, drinks and taking him along on their activities and then even home for the night. You get a chance to see how people in different cultures live their daily lives and rid yourselves of probably some misconceptions that you may have about different parts of the world.

We found Stranded With Cash Peters an interesting and light-hearted show, well worth checking out. So tune in some Monday Night at 9:00 P.M. ET/PT, to The Travel Channel for Stranded With Cash Peters.
