Valentine's Day 2004

Valentine's Day 2004
Hello, and welcome back. We're between storm systems at the moment, so I made my bookstore run last night--the new J. D. Robb is tempting me away from my chores, but I've resisted so far. I'm not sure how much longer my willpower will hold out, though.

This time out, I thought perhaps I'd share a few ideas for the one holiday each year dedicated specifically to romance: Valentine's Day! Sure, we can do romantic things all year long, but this one day is tailor-made for it. So, what are your plans? Dinner out? Dinner in? An evening with a steamy book and a nice glass of wine while you wait for your Prince Charming? I think we can cover the last two options very nicely for you here. So let's go!

For that evening in with your special someone, wine is sometimes called for. How about.....

And to set the mood, some candles....

Okay, now that the atmosphere is set and sinfully tasty things are at hand, reading material is necessary. What about the latest in steam from Bertrice Small: Dragonlord's Daughter

?

Prefer modern or post-modern settings? All right, then.....Divided in Death

Need another choice? How about several choices in one volume? Irresistible Forces

Now you've got your reading material and all your other goodies, you're on your own. Enjoy!
