Hello, and welcome back! Still hot and miserable here, but there are plenty of books sitting here to keep me busy in the cooler temperatures inside the house. I would like to spend a little time outside soon, though, or the weeds will be as tall as the herbs pretty soon, and that is definitely no good. I have noticed, though, the gold finches are enjoying my black-eyed susans this summer, which I've never seen before. I'd rather watch them from the porch, however, than from inside the house.

This time out, I have the latest from Cynthia Eden, Never Cry Wolf
(Brava, purchased). Lucas Simone heads a wolf pack, and Sarah King hopes the stories about his protective side are true, because she needs a safe place to go. She just can't let him know her secret. But resisting the sexy shifter is impossible, and when he learns her secret, trusting her is not an option--she could be a danger to his pack. But he can't seem to stay away from her either, trust issues or not. Lucas is a seriously hot werewolf, and even knowing that Sarah's talent could be turned against him, he still falls for her, hard. Sarah is strong, but even she is smart enough to know when she needs help, and smart enough to know Lucas is the man for the job. She doesn't count on falling into bed with him, or in love with him, but sometimes life gets in the way of our plans. No shifter fan will be able to help falling in love with Lucas right along with Sarah. He's delicious. I'm borrowing four of Cupid's five arrows for this one.
