The Creed Legacy

The Creed Legacy
Hello, and welcome back! Only another month and a half till autumn arrives, and I'm counting days now. I'm not sure what we did here to annoy Mother Nature quite this much, but I really am sick of summer. I do have some fabulous August romances to share with you, thanks to all my indoor time, but there are still a few July books waiting.

This time out, I have the latest from Linda Lael Miller in her 'Montana Creeds' series, The Creed Legacy (HQN, purchased, and received from publicist). Brody Creed is happy with his life, rambling along like a tumbleweed. Then he meets up with his brother and finds himself back with his family for the first time in forever. Carolyn Simmons knows Brody is not the sort of man to stick around, no matter what her hormones are telling her about him. That does not stop her from wanting him anyway. Brody's own past will not let him get close to anybody, at least not until Carolyn comes back into his life. But they have issues related to their history, together and apart, that will not let them find a happy ending until they can be completely honest about everything. Miller is another of my favorite authors, no matter what it is she's writing. Her cowboys are irresistible, as is Brody, with his cocky smile hiding the things that trouble him. The Creed men are a complicated bunch, and Brody is no exception, and, like those before him, readers won't be able to help falling in love with him as they read further into his story. Carolyn has her own issues, and trusting Brody is a major sticking point. I love this latest installment in the series, with the chance to revisit previous characters as we follow Brody and Carolyn's romance. Terrific. This one has earned four of Cupid's five arrows. Until next time, happy reading!
