Hello, and welcome back! The holiday season is in full, crazy swing everywhere, and the ensuing work schedule here has put a serious crimp in my normal routine. I apologize for that. I do have lots of books waiting here on my desk for sharing with all of you, and I will get to them.

This time out, I have the anthology SEAL of My Dreams (Bell Bridge Books, purchased), with stories from nineteen different authors, all featuring a Navy SEAL or two. Military romances have been a popular subgenre for years, and with some of this year's news stories, SEALs have come to wider attention than those romance readers have been enjoying for a long time. If you haven't picked up a copy of this one, I hope you'll consider it, as the proceeds are going to the Veterans Research Corporation, supporting veterans medical research. Whether you're a die-hard romance fan, or someone who enjoys a story with a little less romance, there is something in this collection for every reader. One of my favorites is Jami Alden's "Coming Home," and her SEAL returning home to the woman who broke his heart, the one he never stopped loving, even when he thought she was married to another man. Stephanie Bond's "Baby I'm Back" brings home a wounded SEAL who meets up with a woman from his own past in his small hometown, where he might get more than one second chance. Elle Kennedy's "Worth the Risk" sends another SEAL home to find his woman, even though she's not very happy to see him after the way he left her. Jo Leigh's "Not Waving but Drowning" has a mentally wounded SEAL on leave and in need of some serious TLC from the woman who's been his friend for years, and who he'd like to be more. Christie Ridgway's "Signed, SEALed, Delivered...I'm Yours" is a great, quick read with a SEAL sent to rescue the niece of a man whose neighborhood is under attack; her future plans don't include a man who's absent all the time, but she may just change her mind for this sexy SEAL. Barbara Samuel's "Dog Heart" is sweet and emotional, with her SEAL bringing the dog partner of one of his old SEAL buddies for some help from the woman he left behind, and she may be able to work her magic on not just the dog but on her wounded SEAL as well. Stephanie Tyler's "Holding On" send her SEAL team home for the holidays, with a baby due any minute, and its daddy far from home. "Letters to Ellie" from Loreth Anne White is a fabulous end to the collection, with a SEAL making a special delivery to the woman his friend was in love with, and with whom he's fallen in love, through his friend's letters. I think there are a whole lot of romance readers out there who will find something to love in this anthology. I'm giving it four of Cupid's five arrows.
