Postcards Dec 2012

I am a member of an International Post Card swap and Iím loving it. I have show you some of the postcards I have received previously. I have recently received a few and have made a number and sent them on. Itís a wonderful group that I belong to and we have members from all over Australia and the world.

Iíve just received the loveliest postcard from Michele who lives in Spain. The theme was Your Town or District and she has photocopied the scene from her backyard and embellished it with bibs and bobs. Here it is:

I also received my December postcard from Desley who lives in River Heads. The theme was Crazy Patch and Desley has done a wonderful job with her Christmas postcard. Here it is:

After I completed my postcards, and before I sent them off, I photographed the following postcards to my swappers.

The theme was Dragonfly Dreaming

The theme was Flowers Galore.

The theme was Circus

The theme was Your Town or District

The theme was By the Sea Shore.

If you are interested in joining this postcard swap, weíd be delighted to have you on board. The next swap commences March and the themes will be:
March is Recycled, April is Letters and Numbers, May is Fungi, June is Embroidery, July is Somewhere over the Rainbow, August is Doodle.

Donít think you have to be a great art quilt maker to participate. We all do our very best, thatís all that is required. There are lots of tutorials and videos on YouTube on making postcards.

If you wish to join us, the contact person for our Swap is Ailsa Mary Koloi and you can email her on akoloi@bigpond.net.au

Iím looking forward to seeing you join us in March 2013.
