Practicing Gratitude


When I think of what I am grateful for, one thing that always naturally comes into my mind is friends. I am thankful for my friends. They make me laugh and smile and feel happy every single day. Friends are a blessing. I appreciate friendship. What are some of the things that you appreciate? What do you feel grateful for? Remember that you have many blessings. Take a quiet moment to appreciate what is in your life. Breathe and think of the things that you can be grateful for. Being grateful is about being thankful.

No matter how you are feeling, practicing gratitude can help you to feel better. Being grateful is about thanking God and the Universe for the good things in your life. Being grateful brings more good into your life. I believe there is a spiritual law that dictates what you are thankful for increases, and what you do not appreciate leaves your life. Gratitude is important for your well-being.

The practice of being grateful brings about an inner transformation that leads to good health both mentally and physically. It does not matter how big or small the things are that you are thankful for. In fact, when you are grateful for the smallest of things, that is when you will really feel the healing power of gratitude. Being grateful for the smallest of things transforms your life into something wonderful. Gratitude is about seeing the positive. Positivity is healing.

Gratitude helps you to attract good things into your life. This is because everything in the universe is made of positive and negative energy. When you shift your thinking to the positive, you send out vibrations that attract more of the positive to come into your life. When you are grateful you realize the good things you have, and attract more good.

Sometimes when we are dealing with stressful situations or people, we can forget what is good in our life. Gratitude reminds us of all that is good and possible. Gratitude helps us to realize that good days and good times are ahead. Gratitude reminds us that we deserve to be happy and feel good about life. It reminds us that happiness is possible.

Take special time each day to think of the things in your life that you are grateful for. Try this simple healing exercise before going to sleep each night or upon waking in the morning and it will help you to have peace of mind. And remember the simpler the things you are grateful for, the better you will feel. The process of gratitude brings health to your mind, body and life.
