I don’t usually do what I’m about to do, but it occurred to me as I was thinking of an article for Mothers Day, that us quilting mothers of the world, really love receiving quilt related paraphernalia. You know what I mean – stuff to use when quilting, stuff to look at when quilting, stuff to hold stuff when quilting , in fact anything at all to do with quilting.

So, for a change I’ve been surfing, and this time I was looking for commercial gifts that can be purchased and given to your quilting mother for Mothers Day.

The Quilters Gift Shop is a commercial business that is worth having a look through. The Quilters Gift Shop based in Colorado in the US, but as always has a pretty suave website and online shop. Here you can purchase things like stationery including postcards, stickers and note cards; bookplates and greeting cards; wall tiles and kitchen handles; quilt themed clocks and figurines; beautiful boxes with a quilt theme; books games and puzzles; quilt CD’s and so much more.

This is a quilt and patchwork shop called Gifts for Quilters and has a range of mugs, t-shirts, jewellery and lots of other goodies that would delight the quilter on Mother’s Day.

This business, Café Press is situated in Australia and has lots and lots of great ideas for gifts for quilters. There are licence plates, bumper stickers, coats for dogs, iphone and ipad cases, glasses cases; bags and purses, journals, water bottles, patchwork flip flops and soooooo much more. Another Aussie site with lots of goodies for the discerning quilter or perhaps just the crazy ones. This site is easy to navigate your way around and also has a nifty shopping cart program. T-shirts, mouse pads, business cards; keychain, magnets, clocks, aprons, watches, mens ties!, playing cards, Christmas tree decorations, dinner plates, candy jars and so the list goes on.
