The Mummy - Tomb Of The Dragon Emperor

The Mummy - Tomb Of The Dragon Emperor
Rick and Evelyn O’Connell are not as happy as they thought they would be in their self-imposed retirement in the English countryside while their son, Alex, is half-way across the world, on his own adventure. But when Alex unearths the evil Emperor Han, the O’Connells visit on behalf of the British government carrying the precious jewel known as “The Eye of Shangri-La”, which, unbeknownst to them, is the key to bringing the Emperor back to life. The trio, with Jonathan and the mysterious Lin, who has kept watch over the Emperor’s tomb for centuries, must put a stop to the latest mummy before he awakens his army and tries to rule the world. Here are a few movie mistakes to look for while watching “The Mummy – Tomb Of The Dragon Emperor”.

∙ When Rick hands Evelyn her glass at dinner, he’s holding his glass in his left hand. In the wider view of the two of them, his thumb is on top of the glass and the rest of his hand is underneath the glass. It cuts to a closer view of Evelyn when she says “every night” and he’s holding his glass around the middle.

∙ Evelyn takes a bite of fish and pulls out a bullet with her right hand. It cuts to a front view of Rick (side view of Evelyn) and she can be seen pulling out the bullet again.

∙ Choi has her right arm around Evelyn’s neck. She agrees to read the inscription on the eye and the close-up shows Choi jerks her arm away. Her arm is still away from her neck when Evelyn says “The inscription says….”. It cuts to a rear view of Evelyn and Choi’s arm is back being wrapped around her neck.

∙ In the battle scene at the end, when Evelyn says “Jonathan certainly knows how to make an entrance”, the front close-up of her shows her sword is down, away from her head. It cuts to a side view as she starts to run and her sword is pointed straight up, near her right shoulder.

“The Mummy – Tomb Of The Dragon Emperor” stars Brendan Fraser, Maria Bello, Jet Li, John Hannah, Michelle Yeoh, Luke Ford, Isabella Leong and Anthony Wong Chau-Sang. It runs 112 minutes and is rated PG-13 for adventure action and violence.
