Easy Styles For Long Hair

Easy Styles For Long Hair
Attention Long Haired Readers. One of the most often asked requests is for suggestions to add versatility to your style. I have found two great new gadgets that are sure to help you find a multitude of trendy styles for long locks.
Conair 4 in 1 Shiny Straight Waver

My first find is the Conair 4in1 Straight Waver. This nifty gadget offers the opportunity for four different fashion looks in one appliance with its four interchangeable plates. It becomes a flat iron when the Flat Plate is inserted, for smoothing out unwanted kinks and is transformed into a hair shiner when its Flocked Plate is pulled through the hair ridding it of frizzies. My favorite options in this gadget are the Deep Wave Plate and the Micro Crimp Plate. With these attachments you can create an ultra romantic wave pattern in your hair or a trendy crimped look.

When using either of these plates, and for a thorough, even style, you will want to start working with the underneath hair while the rest of the hair is clipped up out of the way. Clamp the iron onto a thin panel of hair, starting close to the head, clamping and unclamping as you work toward the end of the hair shaft, lining up the top of the plate with the bottom of the previous pattern so that the wave or crimped pattern flows without interruption. Patiently work through the hair until you finish with the top layer. Using this technique will leave your hair with an even wave or crimped pattern and lots of fullness.

One of the great things about long hair is that you have the versatility to wear the often dreamed of sophisticated up-swept style. My second find, the Conair Quick and Easy Braider will give you a classy braided look in just a few minutes. This invention produces a roping effect instead of the classic three-strand braid. With the flick of a switch the Braider simultaneously twists each of two strands of hair and then twists the two together into a rope effect. This item is especially useful to those with thick hair and the ropes can be arranged in any number of styles to create some very trendy looks. Try creating several around your face, pulling them back and securing them at the crown or at the nape with a pretty barrette. For more drama in your style, use the Waver or the Crimper on all of your hair first before using the Braider to add ropes to the front or the top.

With these two gadgets and some others that I will tell you about in the future, your long hair versatility will be limitless.
