Dragons – there are two main types we associate with. The first are the Western kind that are built like winged lizards, or have dinosaur type bodies. The second are the Eastern kinds, which are more snake like.

Dragons are reputed to live in caves and hatch from eggs, they are multi-sized and have any number of legs. They can be good or bad and are sometimes shown with red or yellow eyes. They can breathe fire, or ice and in some cases, even poison.

It seems that over time, depictions of dragons have become larger. As they are part of many European cultural myths and folk stories they have an air of being ancient beasts.

Dragons now are shown in many ways with the increase of fantasy stories, movies, television programs and games.
