June 2004 Romance Releases!

Hello, and welcome back! I've given up all hope of anymore spring-like weather; summer's here to stay, and early, darn it. So I've stocked up on cold drinks and am staying inside where it's cooler. And a good thing, too, with a couple of the things I have to share with you this time out.

First up is Jo Beverley's Three Heroes
Three Heroes
(NAL), putting three great stories together in one volume: The Demon's Mistress, The Dragon's Bride, and The Devil's Heiress. I've reviewed all three of these previously, so I won't do it again here, but you can find the previous reviews here, here, and here. And, since I have all three of these myself, I'll be offering this volume up the week of June 1, 2004 in the forum as a giveaway book. You must be a registered forum user to participate in the giveaway, so if you're not registered yet, hurry on over so you're ready next week. You'll find all the rules in the forum. Good luck!

Also this week, I have the latest from Catherine Anderson's Coulter series, Bright Eyes
Bright Eyes
(Signet). Natalie Patterson's son is having a difficult time adjusting to the divorce of his parents, and when he vandalizes Zeke Coulter's garden, Zeke goes to find the culprit. In the coming weeks as Chad works to fix the damage he caused, Zeke and Natalie grow closer. As I've come to expect when I open a book by Ms. Anderson, I'm drawn right into the lives of these characters, understanding the things that drive them and make them hurt or happy. It's truly a joy to read her books. This one's earned four and a half of Cupid's five arrows.

Next, I have Emma Holly's Cooking up a Storm (Cheek). I got this some time ago, and wanted to save it to share with you closer to its release date, along with some excerpts of other books this publisher is releasing this spring and summer. If you've been looking for some well-written erotic romance that doesn't forget the romance, you'll want to check these out. In this first book, Abby Coates is on the verge of losing her restaurant when Storm Dupre arrives, promising he can turn things around for her, personally and professionally. Abby has nothing to lose, so she agrees. This one is not for the faint of heart, but if you're a fan of real erotica, grab this one and a tall pitcher of something cold to drink. I'm giving this one four arrows. Also, other upcoming releases include Emma Holly's In the Flesh and Menage, and Alison Tyler's Sweet Thing and Sticky Fingers. Enjoy!

Until next time, happy reading!
