Relationship Enrichment System publishes board games meant for the couple who needs a little bit of zest in their romantic life. They are primarily sensual and emotionally based, not erotic or overtly sexual. It may take a little work to get your partner to agree to play one of these games, but it might make for a fun evening.
Romantic Rendezvous is a board game, where each player moves along the windy path on the board, where each space gives a specific instruction. Many of these instructions are based on an emotional aspect of relationships, and they instruct you, for example, to tell your partner where you'd like to go if you could leave right now for a weekend vacation. Others are sensual, instructing you to do things like rub your partner's shoulders for five minutes.
Canoodling is a card-based game with a similar basis. Players select cards and do what the card tells them to. Again, this game is not sexually explicit in any way, but rather emotional and sensual.
RES also publishes a "Massage Kit and Game", which is basically a bottle of edible massage lotion, a bottle of scented massage oil, and a bottle of scented massage lotion. The kit comes with a spinner, which each player spins and then does what the spinner instructs them to, for example, massage their partner's back with two fingers. Again, no sexual content here, only sensual contact is part of the game. I must say that the smells of the oils were too overpowering for me, and I did not enjoy the taste of the flavored one at all, but I'm extremely sensitive to smells, so most people will not have this problem.
Many couples will enjoy these games, but it does take a little bit of open-mindedness and adventurousness to be able to play these games. One thing I really like about the games is that they don't make any assumptions about the couples playing them, any two people who are in love will be able to play them, regardless of age, orientation, gender, whether or not they have children, etc. Give one of them a try, you just might like it!
