It has been reported that Peter Reckell (Bo Brady) and his wife, singer Kelly Moneymaker, 37, welcomed their first child -- a daughter -- near the end of October. The little girl, who has reportedly been named Loden, weighed 6 pounds, 9 ounces.

Alice's Health Declining
As most of you know, Francis Reid's health has been declining. The veteran actress is 93 years old and is reportedly suffering from a respiratory illness and dementia. According to some sources, plans are in the making to have Reid's character, Alice Horton, pass away in the near future.

Rumors are True!
Soap Opera Digest had reported that Ashley Benson, (Abigail Devareaux) would be leaving the DOOL and that she would be replaced. Today, Ashley has confirmed this to be true. She was expecting to have a larger role as Abby, which is one character on the Soap which has never really been developed. Her aspirations as an actress have not wained. In fact, she reports that she is excited to be auditioning again. She is in a music video that has recently been airing on MTV. The group is called NLT and the song is, That Girl. Also, she is set to appear in the DVD movie, Bring it on 4. Her last taping date on the set of Days of Our Lives will be March 31st. You can read her post on her blog.

Kirikias Clan Re-emerges
Judi Evans will be reprising her role of Adrienne Johnson Kirikias on Days Of Our Lives. Evans found out at her going away party and will report back to work on March 30th. Adrienne is not due to air until May 1st. The storyline will somehow involve Patch. No one has alluded to Justin coming back as well (let's keep our pinkies crossed!).

Sheetz Swap
According to an article in the latest issue of Soap Opera Digest (March 20, 2007), John and Marlena fans are in an uproar over a set of sheets sent to the super couple in hopes of it sparking some much wanted love scenes between the two. Instead, the sheets ended up under Steve and Kayla! Fans are understandably upset, but the Production Designer Dan Olexiewicz says that fans should be happy to see their sheets on Steve and Kayla's bed. Sounds like a botched "cover up" to me!

Patrika Darbo Appears in The Wedding Bells
Patrika Darbo recently made a guest appearance on Fox’s new show, The Wedding Bells. She played Edith Bretch sister of Sheila Pontell (played by Delta Burke). Although a brief role with no real spoken dialogue, Patrika gave a hysterical performance of a woman trying to upstage her sister. You can watch the promo on YouTube.
She also appears in the comedy, Moving McAllister, as Debbie, which is scheduled to be released in late 2007.

Alison Sweeney to be the Next Biggest Loser Host
NBC recently announced that Alison Sweeney, a.k.a. Sami Brady on Days of Our Lives, will be the next host for the hit show, The Biggest Loser.
Alison has played a daytime’s bad girl Sami Brady since January 6, 1993 and is expected to continue her role until the expiration of her contract in April 2009.
She is replacing Caroline Rhea, who decided to leave the show. Alison’s appearance will likely increase viewer ratings because she appeals to a younger audience. Alison has struggled with her own weight which she talks candidly about in her book, All the Days of My Life (So Far)
