Welcome to this month's edition of the Web Design Ezine from BellaOnline. Check out the articles on the site - there are several, chock full of tips and guidelines for publishing professional user-friendly websites. Check out my new feature, "Design Target Niches" which starts with an article on designing effective, appealing real estate sites. Lots of resources have also been added, which all lead to useful web building tools and techno know-how. Creative Director/Interaction Designer
New York location, Telecommuting possible

Startup engaged in online entertainment marketing is searching for an Interaction Designer/Creative Director to help design, architect and build a consumer website from the ground up. The primary focus of work effort will be split between interaction design/IA and creative design.

Track record designing consumer websites —- experience in the entertainment industry and/or e-commerce is a plus
Experience managing production resources (e.g. graphic designers, copywriters) during the project lifecycle
Experience developing prototypes, personas, user case scenarios, flow diagrams, site maps, wireframes, etc. We expect to see samples.
Strong leadership skills and ability to work directly with senior management
Independent and proactive attitude that thrives in a startup environment
Familiarity with agile and iterative methodologies
At least 5 years experience in the field. Interactive agency/consulting background is a plus
Excellent oral and written communication and presentation skills
Ability to meet tight deadlines

Web Design Specialist - San Rafael, CA
Immediate need for web design specialist for ACT 1 with 3+ years previous design experience. Will be responsible for design of intranet site, using existing platform and design elements. Qualifications needed: HTML-ability to write and read code and tags; Java, Visual Basic, Sharepoint. Must be resident of local Marin/San Francisco Area.
