Drytex Hinged Knee Brace

Since I tend to have problems with stability in my knee, I have tried several types of knee braces over the years. The Drytex Hinged Knee Brace by DonJoy is currently my favorite. I have had two other hinged knee braces and they just don’t compare to the Drytex in comfort and support.

I prefer a hinged knee brace because of the extra support and stability that elastic or neoprene braces alone do not have. The Drytex has removable aluminum uprights so that it can worn with or without them, depending on what level of support is needed. I find this to be a great feature, as I occasionally need to wear the brace at times other than when involved in sports and the wrap-around design makes it very easy to adjust the brace so that it seems to have been tailor made.

The brace is made of Drytex fabric which is exclusively produced for DonJoy. The patented Lycra fabric which surrounds a nylon core is more breathable, more comfortable and not as hot as standard neoprene. This fabric does not compromise support for comfort but supplies both. Plus, for people who are allergic to neoprene or who are sensitive to it, Drytex is a wonderful alternative! Another plus for this brace is that it is lightweight and easy to get on and off.

The people at JointHealing.com supply this brace and I have to say that besides great customer service, they have an excellent web site! I am really impressed with the Drytex Hinged Knee Brace and its’ durability and I have looked around for the same brace on other web sites and not found a better price. They carry other excellent products as well and the site was created by orthopedic surgeons especially for people with bone and joint problems. JointHealing.com has numerous links that you should really take the time to check out. Links to specific problems, specific joints and sports injuries plus links to what other customers have to say. Stop in and visit them at JointHealing.com today. And when you are done…See you on the court!
