Queer Eye for the Straight Girl

Queer Eye for the Straight Girl
Well if you are a ‘Queer Eye’ fan, then possibly you just might like the latest version, ‘Queer Eye for The Straight Girl’. I caught the first show and can't tell you how many ways I love this new show. The interactions between this Fab Four is great.

The following is what I wrote before watching the show.

This show is breaking more ground with the addition of the a female. They friends of the poor straight girl have nicknames such as: “The Look” “The Life” “The Local” and “The Lady”. They have big shoes to fill, following in the Fab Fours’ footsteps, that’s true. With the twist of it being for women, they might just cut their own niche and develop their own fan base.

The Look, Robbie Laughlin
The Look, role is to be a complete guide for the straight girls on how to look and dress from head to toe. “If you look your best you will feel your best and be your best in anything you do.” says Robbie. Robbie came from a small town of Yarnhill. Oregon and graduated from Cornish College of The Arts in Seattle with a degree in Theatre. Robbie has guest stared in sever TV shows such as “Six Feet Under”, “The Big Easy”, “Family Matters” “Cybill” “Caroline and the City” and several other shows. He has also worked in films such as: “Higher Learning” and “Dogfight”

The Life, Danny Teeson
The Life, role is to all about lifestyle, such as eating healthy and exercise, love, entertainment and everything to do with culture. Danny has been a choreographer and won 2000's Best Music Video for ‘Sex Bomb, restaurant owner, designer and party planner. He comes from england and learned about food and wine from his grandmother, when she taught him to cook at the age of 5. He also groomed his skills in the family restaurant and he and his mother are in partnership on their restaurant in Paros Greece. Danny was dance captain and an original cast member of the London stage version of “Fame”.

The Locale, Damon Pease
The Locale, role is to build dreams by matching the perfect look to any location or occasion. Damon builds the perfect space to match the Straight Girls’ personal look. “My philosophy for design is to keep a room simple with clean lines and attention to detail”, says Damon. Damon owns his own company, Fusion Design and has been a guest designer for “Everyday Elegance’. Damon has been a model and make-up artist throughout Europe and Asia.

The Lady, Honey Labrador
The Lady is called the glue of this group. The Lady has her role in all three of the areas, The Look, The Life, and The Local. She is a working mother and Honey brings her unique position of counsel to the straight girls in the matter of work, family, sex and even so they say “Walk in heels. She is the first lesbian in the Queer Eye, groups. It is true, that the pilot for the original ‘Queer Eye for the Straight Guy’ had a female, but we all know she was quickly replaced and the dynamics of the Fab Five was perfect. "As the eldest daughter of a single working mother, I was always inspired by my mother's strength, determination and independence," says Honey.

This show looks promising, the latest this time the Fab Four , sounds perfect for the show. I suggest if you’re a fan of the original Fab Five, you will probably enjoy this verison. So, you got to tune in on Wednesday nights on Bravo and find out if you agree with me.
