Lako's School Days Game
Guest Author - Megan Romer

Lako School Days Game is a great matching game made by Learn with Lako (Lako is a cat, and the playing pieces are different color kitties). Each player chooses at random three playing cards: color, number and object. The players then take turns drawing cards off the stack of picture cards.

If a player's 3 playing cards are, for example, Red, Three and Food, and they draw a card with two yellow shoes on it, they do not get to move. If they draw a card that has one blue berry on it, they are allowed to move, because one of their category matches.

The players move along the path to the schoolhouse, and the first to get to the schoolhouse wins! It's a simple game that depends on matching skills to win; a slightly more advanced Candy Land, if you will. It's a fun game for preschool aged kids who want to "play school".

LAKO'S SCHOOL DAYS GAME AT-A-GLANCE:
