I’ve been working on a Formula 1 quiz – my first quiz for this site. It is all about the drivers taking part in the sport in 2007. I ask you a question with a hint as to who I am thinking of, and then you can guess from a choice of four options which driver it is all about. If you’ve been a fan for a while or have read up on the drivers this year, then you will probably find it easy, but if you’re a beginner or have only just discovered the sport, then it may be more of a challenge. Take the quiz anyway, if only to confirm that you are a proper fan and you never know, you might learn a thing or too.

If you have any ideas for quizzes that you might want to see in the future, then please let me know. I found it difficult to come up with a subject to do the quiz on but once I got going, the questions were easy. It was difficult to limit it to just 10!
Also on the site, there are several word games that you can have a go at, if you have a spare five minutes. First up is a game of Hangman:

All the words are to do with Formula 1 – so expect driver names and teams and all those little things that will keep you guessing! In case you have never played Hangman before, you are basically given a number of spaces and you need to guess the letters to complete the word before a picture of a hanged man is completed.
We have Word Scramble, again made up of words to do with the sport. This time you are given all the letters of the word you need and it is your job to try and unscramble them to find out what the word is.

And lastly, we have a Word Search. Of course, the words you are searching for are all Formula 1 related, and you can guarantee a lot of fun as you cross them off your list. It’s worth noting that the game can’t really be played on line, but if you have access to a printer, you can print the page out and play the game at your leisure. You could even print out a couple and make a little book as a present, or to keep you occupied on the train.
