Hong Kong Film Awards

The Hong Kong Film Awards ceremony is March 27, 2005. This is the 24th annual award ceremony. Everyone in Hong Kong and Chinese films will be there. Jackie Chan and Stephen Chow are in the running for a Best Actor Award along with Tony Leung Chiu Wai, Alex Fong and Daniel Wu.

There will be a celebration of the 100th anniversary of Chinese films. Hong Kong is the Hollywood of the east.

The Hong Kong Coliseum is the site of the presentation. If you are in Hong Kong March 27, 2005, stop by and watch the stars stroll the red carpet.

The following five films are nominees for the Best Film of the Year Award.

2. Breaking News

3. Kung Fu Hustle

4. One Nite in Mongkok

5. New Police Story
