When riding the beautiful roads of Northern Kentucky, a great motorcycle destination and chance to refuel with good eats and a cool drink is Mugbees Biker Bar and Restaurant.

Mugbees restaurant and biker bar, located in Florence, Ky, is right on Route 42. Mugbees is conveniently located right in the heart of Florence, not far past Mall Road. On most days, you can drive past and see motorcycles in the parking lot. The parking on the side is exclusively for bikes, so that all can proudly display their machines. Mugbees is very motorcycle friendly to the point of having a specific bike night, as well as, being the departure or destination of many of the rides in Northern Kentucky.

They have a pool table, dance floor, and large bar area. They have a nice outdoor bar area as well. They have great happy hour prices and weekend musical entertainment, whether it is a disc jockey, solo artist, or live band. Thursday night is steak night, where their cook, Aaron, cooks the best ribeye steak meal deal in the area. For prices ranging from $8-$10, you get a deliciously seasoned ribeye along with an all you can eat buffet of ribs, corn, green beans, etc. A nice meal for the value.

They also have an assortment of bar food, such as, quesadillas, jalapeño poppers, wings, nachos, and other assorted munchies. They have a full service menu for the hungrier types. So far, I have never had anything that wasn’t good.

They change their entertainment seasonally, so be sure and call before you go. Starting soon, Thursday nights will be Eighties Ladies night, with great music and great Ladies Night prices.

The best part about Mugbees is the people. Definitely get a bar seat so you don’t miss a thing. The bartenders are top notch and you won’t have any empty bottles or wait time on drinks. On any given week night evening or weekend day, the usual blue collar and biker crowd can be found. On weekend nights, the crowd tends to get younger later in the evening.
