We Are Marshall
∙ Coach Jack Lengyel goes to talk to Red Dawson who is working on the roof of his shed. When Red says “probably should’ve gone for the nickels”, the rear view of Lengyel shows he’s holding his right arm up with his hand next to his head. The scene cuts to a front view and Lengyel’’s right arm is down by his side.
∙ Later in this scene, in the wide view from the ground looking up, Lengyel remarks “I want you to be the assistant coach” and Red is shown moving to another section of the roof. Lengyel is standing in the first section and there are now three empty squares between the two men. It cuts to a closer view and there are only two empty squares between them.
∙ Did you know? The characters of Annie Cantrell and Chris Griffen are "composite" characters, ie fictional characters that weren't part of the true story of the Marshall University tragedy.
“We Are Marshall” (2006) stars Matthew McConaughey, Matthew Fox, Anthony Mackie, David Strathairn, Ian McShane, Kate Mara, Robert Patrick, January Jones and Kimberly Williams-Paisley. It runs 131 minutes and is rated PG for emotional thematic material, a crash scene and mild language.
