Baked Sesame Chicken Wings Recipe
These easy to make sesame chicken wings are marinated overnight in a deliciously flavorful sauce and then baked till they are brown and crisp. This makes the perfect meal served with white rice and broccoli, enjoy!

15 whole fresh chicken wings
4 green onions
1 clove garlic
¼ cup hot water
3 tbsp sugar
½ cup soy sauce
2 tbsp dark sesame oil
2 tbsp sesame seeds

  1. Rinse the wing and dry them thoroughly. Then cut them into two pieces at the joint and cut off the wing tips and either discard them or save them for another recipe. Once you have the wings cut, there should be 30 wings in total.

  2. Next rinse the green onions and dry them thoroughly. Then cut the ends off and discard. Dice the remaining stalks and set them aside.

  3. Lightly smash the garlic with the side of a large knife and peel it. Then mince it and set it with the green onion.

  4. Next in a large cup, preferably with a pouring spout, mix the hot water with the sugar and stir until the sugar dissolves.

  5. Then to the sugar mixture add the green onions, minced garlic, soy sauce, dark sesame oil, and sesame seeds. Stir to completely mix together.

  6. Then place the wings in a large plastic bag (you may have to use two separate bags adding half the wings and sauce in each) and then pour the sauce mixture onto the wings. Seal the bag pressing all of the excess air out and then squeeze the mixture around to coat all of the wings. Place this in the refrigerator and let it marinate overnight.

  7. The next day preheat the oven to 350F. Then remove the wings from the marinade and place them on a baking sheet and then bake them for 45 minutes, flipping them once in between.

  8. After 45 minutes turn the broiler on high and let them cook for 1½ minutes on each side, or just until each side gets slightly browned and crisp. Make sure to watch them while they broil. Depending on you broiler this may take a little more or a little less time, just keep an eye on them so they don’t burn. Then the sesame wings are ready to serve. These are delicious served alongside white steamed rice and broccoli, enjoy!
