Jaws The Revenge

Jaws The Revenge
Police Chief Brody is gone but his family still lives on Amity Island. His youngest son, Sean, is now a deputy on the island and the family is anticipating a happy Christmas. But things go horribly wrong when a routine night on the harbor results in tragedy with Sean being killed by a shark attack. Ellen Brody is convinced that the Great White is tracking members of her family, waiting for the opportune moment to strike. She reluctantly agrees to visit the Bahamas where her older son, Michael, now lives with his family. But even that distance might not be enough to keep them safe from a shark bent on killing them. Here are a few movie mistakes to look for while watching “Jaws The Revenge”.

· Sean takes his boat out to the buoy to remove some driftwood that’s been snagged. The shark comes out the water, and in the view of its head, there is already blood in the water before it attacks Sean.

· Michael is working on the boat and grabs the binoculars to watch Ellen and Hoagie as they walk the beach. In the view of the two of them though the binoculars, Ellen can be seen wearing white shoes. When the scene cuts to a rear view of them on the beach, Ellen is now barefoot.

· Michael is at the window watching Ellen and Hoagie who have come back from sightseeing. Carla is in bed and in the close-up, her head is propped up against her left hand, not touching the pillow. It cuts to a wider view of the two of them (from behind her) and her head is lying on the pillow.

· After Michael encounters the shark, he is apprehensive about getting back into the water. He’s sitting on the deck of the boat, just before he jumps in the water, and there is a gray patch on the left arm of his suit. In the first view of him swimming through the water, the gray patch is gone. It’s back again after he passes the rock formation.

“Jaws The Revenge” (1987) stars Lorraine Gary, Lance Guest, Mario Van Peebles, Karen Young, Michael Caine and Judith Barsi. It runs 89 minutes and is rated PG-13 for violence/gore and frightening/intense scenes.
