Mean Girls

Mean Girls
Cady is the new girl at school. While trying to fit in, she becomes friends with Janis and Damian. The trio hatches a plot to infiltrate and destroy a clique called “The Plastics”. Will Cady be able to pull off the scheme or will she slowly become what she dislikes the most? Here are a few movie mistakes to look for while watching “Mean Girls”.

∙ Regina invites Cady to sit with her and the other “Plastics” in the cafeteria. Her hair is pulled behind her shoulders for most of the scene. Just before she makes the comment about Cady being pretty, Regina’s hair falls in front of her right shoulder. But in the very next view of her, Regina’s hair is back to being behind her shoulder.

∙ Regina is crying about Aaron breaking up with her after Cady told him Regina was cheating. Regina is sitting on the bed with Karen and Gretchen. Her hair alternates again from being behind and in front of her shoulders throughout the scene.

∙ Cady gets upset and runs out of the Halloween party. She then goes to see Damian and Janis. The two are sitting on the couch, watching a movie when Cady comes in and scares them. Damian spills the popcorn out of the bowl when Cady first enters the room. After Cady says “Regina took Aaron back”, there is a front view of Damian and Janis on the sofa and it shows the bowl is full of popcorn again.

∙ During the party at Cady’s house, Aaron is in her bedroom looking at pictures when Cady comes out of the bathroom. There are a couple of stacks of CDs in front of the lamp on the table near the door. Cady puts a red cup on the middle, larger stack of CDs in front of the lamp. But during the next front view of Cady, the cup is now on the smaller stack of CDs that is closer to the door.

∙ Regina is talking on the phone to Cady while she’s eating a donut. When Regina is first shown, the top of the donut has been bitten straight through to the center hole. But after it shows her little sister and Regina comes back into view, the top of the donut still has a piece missing but the bite no longer goes all the way to the center hole. (There’s still a piece left!)
