Tweet is back with

Tweet is very excited about her latest CD IT’S ME AGAIN. IT’S ME AGAIN hit stores on March 22nd. The single TURN DA LIGHTS OFF can be heard on the radio now.

What’s different about this CD?
“The first CD was dark and timid. Now I’m in a happier time in my life. I’ve grown as a woman and artist and it depicts happier times.”

Trying to juggle family life with a music career can be hard, but Tweet has a great support system. “Fortunately I have a supportive family. My daughter understands this is what Mommy does.”

Tweet’s daughter showcases her singing skills on this CD. When asked who’s idea was it to have her sing on the track, Tweet responded, “Mine…I heard the track and thought the lyrics were perfect.”

Tweet worked with several producers on this CD. If you’ve watched the show ROAD TO STARDOM, Missy’s straightforwardness comes to no surprise. Tweet confirmed that she’s the same in the studio. “She’s very straight forward because the goal is to put out a timeless and good record.”

Some might not know that Tweet did the theme song for the USA network’s new series, KOJAK. She explained how she got involved. “The record company was contacted because they wanted me to do the song. It was a perfect opportunity to do the theme song plus promote the new CD at the same time.” Although she didn’t get a chance to meet the star of the show, Ving Rhames, the video was shot on the set.

Her personal story is inspirational and a good example to not give up, even if your situation looks bleak. When asked what led to that dark period of her life and how she overcame it, she said, “Trying to get into the industry…being in an 8 year relationship that didn’t work out...going back home and trying to get a job but couldn’t find one all led to it…The call from Missy is what saved my life.”

Tweet loves music so much that even if she couldn’t sing, she would do radio. But it’s hard to imagine her not singing. If given the opportunity, she states she would love to collaborate with “John Legend and Prince.”

Tweet is also an avid reader. Some of her favorite authors are “Sister Souljah and TD Jakes.” In light of some of the celebrity books that have been out lately, does Tweet have any plans on writing a non-fiction or fiction book? She stated, “Maybe or maybe not. I’m not opposed to the idea.”

What can listeners expect from Tweet in the future? “Timeless music and in your face lyrics.”

With Tweet’s sultry voice and some of the hottest producers adding their skills to IT’S ME AGAIN, listeners won’t be disappointed. IT’S ME AGAIN is in stores now.

Thanks Tweet for the interview. Keep on singing and putting out those timeless records.
