Beauty And The Beast (2017)

Beauty And The Beast (2017)
Belle lives in a small French village with her inventor father. When her father fails to return from a trip, Belle searches and finds him as a prisoner in a castle that belongs to an angry beast. Taking her father’s place in the dungeon, Belle finds herself the guest of the cursed household who hope she’s the one to break the spell before they remain in their current state forever. Will Beauty fall in love with the Beast? Here are a few movie mistakes to look for while watching 2017’s “Beauty and the Beast”.

∙ Belle is walking through the village while singing “Bon Jour”. At the beginning of the song, she’s shown buying a loaf of bread which she places in her apron pocket. It’s still in her pocket as she walks along the street but, by the time she reaches the bookstore, it’s gone.

∙ Also during this scene, Belle has the bread in her pocket and her hands are noticeably empty as she starts to rub the horse. She turns to talk to one of the other villagers and as she rubs the donkey, she now has an apple in her hand to feed him.

∙ At the start of the “Gaston” number, Gaston and LeFou are sitting in the tavern. In the first right side view, LeFou’s left arm is stretched out and over the back of the chair that Gaston is sitting in. It cuts to a closer front view of them when Gaston mentions children and LeFou’s left arm is curved down, with his right hand holding his left one. The scene cuts to a farther view and LeFou’s left arm is once again stretched over the back of the chair.

∙ Also during the “Gaston” scene, Gaston jumps onto the bar top while holding a gun. The gun fires and debris falls onto the bar. It cuts to a farther view a few moments later, and the bar is clear of the debris.

“Beauty And The Beast” (2017) stars Emma Watson, Dan Stevens, Luke Evans, Josh Gad, Kevin Kline, Hattie Morahan, Ewan McGregor, Ian McKellan, Emma Thompson, Nathan Mack, Audra McDonald and Stanley Tucci. It runs 129 minutes and is rated PG for some action violence, peril and frightening images.
