George Kahumoku's Footprints in the Poi is one of the best cd's I've listened to! Filled with stories, intros to the songs, and George's wonderful sense of humor, history and life. Hawaii at it's finest is in this cd. You will laugh and feel more of Hawaii with this album than in any cd I've heard to date. If you love Hawaiian music, slack key guitar, entertainment and so much more this is the cd to get!

These recordings come from a variety of "live" performances and are pieced together in a way that flows. George also shares the stage with guest musicians including his son, Keoki Kahumoku, Daniel Ho, and Bob Brozman. You'll hear slack key guitar, ukes, steel guitar and more in this wonderful release. First released in 2003 this album will always be a classic when it comes to Hawaiian music and you will love it!
