Vietnam Foods - Banh Troi
Guest Author - Taisha Turner

Are you planning a trip to Vietnam in Southeast Asia? Are you interested in trying the traditional food and drink? Try a serving of banh troi. The marble floating cakes are a cold Vietnamese dish on which to dine.

The Vietnam dumplings are a mixture of sticky rice and regular rice with a little grated ginger. A piece of plum and brown sugar are inside the dumpling. Sprinkles of toasted sesame seeds are on the cakes.

Banh troi cakes are larger than banh chay Yet, both dumplings are served in a light syrup.

Try a dish of banh troi. It is refreshing on a hot and humid day in Vietnam.

Decorate your home with a poster of Vietnam. Transport youself to Vietnam with each viewing.
