Today's model is my 18 inch Helene by Corolle - with Floppy by her side as usual.

The small photo shows the bow tied on the back of the pinafore.

Hints and tips:

- Color coordinate the outfit - such as a darker dress with a lighter apron or vice versa.

- Two calico prints - one light and one dark - also fit nicely together.

- Finish the hem of the pinafore just above the finished hemline of the dress so you can still see some dress - this frames the pinafore nicely.

- On the dress, use velcro buttons at the neck and just above the waist rather than buttons or snaps if the dress will be for a child.

- One the pinafore sew the ribbon over the waistline and make it long enough in back to tie in a bow.
