Singapore Changi Airport Swimming Pool
Guest Author - Taisha Turner

Singapore Changi Airport is Southeast Asia’s best airport. The place offers different facilities and services for the traveler. One of the facilities is a swimming pool.

The rooftop swimming pool is in Terminal 1. The outdoor swimming pool is free for travelers staying at the Ambassador Transit Hotel. There is a small fee for those not staying in the Ambassador Transit. The swimming pool’s operating hours are 6:00 A.M. to 11:00 P.M. daily.

The Balinese-styled swimming pool is a relaxing place for the weary traveler. The warm water eases body tension and invigorate the mind. A hot shower, towel and free non-alcoholic drink are part of the admission. A soft drink, bottle water and tea are some of the drink choices.

The Singapore Changi Airport swimming pool is on third level of Terminal 1. If you are in Terminal 2, take the sky train to Terminal 1. Travel time between the two terminals via the sky train is two minutes. The wait time for the sky train is from one to two minutes.

Once at the Ambassador Transit Hotel on level three, stop at the admittance desk with your request. The personnel will issue the towel and direction. Follow direction and have a splashing good time.

Remember the Singapore Changi Airport has many activities for the arriving or departing passenger. The rooftop swimming pool is one of them. There are free internet cafes and movies. Stop by any information desk for maps and brochures. The friendly information officer will answer all questions.

Stroll the gardens and streets of Singapore with the photographs of Luca Invernizzi Tettoni in Singapore: City of Gardens. Arm chair travelers will enjoy the beautiful photographs of Fort Canning Park, Orchard Road, Sentosa Park, The Singapore Zoological Gardens, plus much more.
