1995 - GoldenEye

Pierce Brosnan began his run as James Bond in 1995’s “Goldeneye”. In this venture, 007 has to find out who’s responsible for hijacking Goldeneye, a deadly nuclear satellite that can be used as a weapon by those who control it. One of the super spy’s few allies in his quest is Natalya Siminova, a Russian computer programmer who was nearly killed during an attack and the shady Valentin Zukovsky. But Bond has his work cut off for him when he ultimately has to face Alec Trevelyan, the former friend and MI-6 agent long thought dead and current mastermind behind the hijacking of Goldeneye and the financial plot behind it and the dangerous femme fatale Xenia Onatopp who possesses a certain crushing personality! Here are a few movie mistakes to look for while watching this Bond flick.

· At the beginning of the film, James has witnessed fellow agent, Alex, being killed. He tries to escape and the only option is an airplane. James doesn’t have gloves on as he’s trying to catch the plane. But he’s suddenly wearing black gloves when he’s on the motorcycle and is chasing the plane again.

· James takes a picture of Xenia Onatopp and Admiral Farrell when they leave the casino. During one view of him, James is holding the camera to his left eye but in the next view of him, he’s holding it to his right eye.

· James finds the Admiral’s body in the closet and it falls to the floor. When the Admiral’s body is falling out of the closet, his eyes and mouth are closed. But when he lands on the floor, the close-up of him shows his eyes and mouth are wide open!

· James wakes up and realizes he’s being held in a helicopter with Natalya that’s about to be destroyed by missiles. James is able to hit the eject button with his head which sends him and Natalya flying through the air. Two white parachutes open up in the air but when the two of them land, one of the parachutes is now red.

“Goldeneye” (1995) stars Pierce Brosnan, Sean Bean, Izabella Scorupco, Judi Dench, Robbie Coltrane, Joe Don Baker, Alan Cumming and Famke Janssen. It runs 130 minutes and is rated PG-13 for a number of sequences of action/violence and for some sexuality.
