Free Teddy Bear Patterns to Sew

Teddy bears are a popular and classic toy that are fun to make. They range in style from very simple non-jointed bears to those that are fully articulated with lifelike detail.

If you are interested in making your own stuffed bears, there are numerous free teddy bear patterns available on the internet. To make it easier for you to locate the perfect pattern, I have compiled links for more than 65 free teddy bear patterns and listed them below. You can click on either the underlined link or on the image to go to the site (press the back arrow icon to return to this page). I have included a thumbnail image and a brief description of the bear. Because the list is so long and extensive, I have broken it up over several pages so that each page will load more quickly. Simply click at the link at the bottom of each page to move to the next section. The bears are listed in alphabetical order by the names they were given.

The bears marked with an asterisk (*) were gleaned from the internet archive from websites that have since gone offline. I don't know how long they will be available, but as they say, the internet is forever. If you find a broken link, please let me know by emailing me using the link below.

If you are looking for more detailed information about making teddy bears, the books below are highly regarded.

If you are the owner of one of these free patterns and object to my using the image or linking to your pattern, please let me know. It is not my intention to infringe upon anyone's images or designs. I am simply providing a service to my readers by collecting these links in one place for them to find.
