Over Forty Style - Bob Flip

Over Forty Style - Bob Flip
This forty-something model has thick, straight hair that is fine in texture. It was blunt cut into the bob shape and then layers were created throughout. Finally, each layer was texturized thoroughly to take the bulk out of the ends and to provide a lot of movement in the style.

In styling this flippy bob, liberal use was made of LC Legacy Styling Foam for lots of body without added weight. Her hair was blown dry and the top was curled with and extra-large curling iron. The flips were created with a ceramic flat-iron. When using a flat-iron to create a flip instead of a curling iron, the ends will stick out without curling all the way over.

Hair color:
This model's hair is naturally dark blonde with alot of white hair appearing at the front hair line and lightly scattered through the rest. Her hair was color enhanced using a foiling technique. Two shades of tint and a lightener were used. Warm medium blond was woven into the areas where the white hair was dominate. A bleach mixture and a high-lift light blonde tint were alternately woven through the rest of her hair. The three shades worked together to give her this attractive soft light blonde shade.
