Finding a public restroom may not immediately come to mind when you think of online services, but the internet is constantly expanding just like the rest of the universe.
www.mizpee.com touts itself as the place to go when you need to find someplace "to go." I'm not sure if this site is going to catch on, but it's a novel concept. Right now, the site only covers 17 cities. So unless you live in a major metropolitan area, it isn't going to provide much guidance.
If you need "to go" in Illinois you better be in Chicago if you want MizPee to help you find the right place. Currently only 15 restrooms are listed for the Chicago area, which seems to be a very small number for such a large city. Of course, that could change in the future.
This seems to be a user driven site. Right now participation seems low, most likely because of the limited number of facilities listed. So if you know where to find a great restroom or want to help others avoid the toilet from hell add your enter to the mix.
To add a new entry, simply click on the Add Toilet link. You then can fill in the name, location and type of business along with other relevant information such as business hours and the availability of handicap facilities and changing stations. You can also provide a review detailing as much or as little of your experience as you wish.
Often we don't think about finding a place to go, until the need actually arises. It's unlikely that you'll be online at that moment, but the service can be accessed from your mobile phone.
