After seven years, playing Cassie Winslow on the Guiding Light, Laura Wright is leaving. Her contract ends in October and she decided not to sign. Guiding Light said that the character will be recasted and there are a lot of new things going to happen to Cassie.
She will be playing Carly Corinthos on General Hospital.
