Daytime television will never be the same after business mogul Donald Trump makes his soap opera debut on NBC's "Days of our Lives." Star of the hit reality show "The Apprentice," Trump will tape his appearance on September 16, in a scene where he leaves Mickey Horton's (John Ingle) office and encounters vixen Nicole Walker (Arianne Zuker). The episode will air on Monday, October 24 (1 p.m. in majority of markets - check local listings for time). "The Apprentice" premieres on NBC Thursday, September 22 (9-10 p.m. ET).
"I'm thrilled that Donald Trump will be guest starring on 'Days of our Lives,'" said Sheraton Kalouria, SVP, NBC Daytime. "Not only is Mr. Trump the biggest star on primetime television, but he also intimately knows drama from his many business ventures to his weekly boardrooms on 'The Apprentice.' Little does he know that the drama on 'Days of our Lives' is often more intense!"
During his scenes, Trump will reference the 40th anniversary of the Horton Foundation to coincide with the show's 40th anniversary in November. This guest appearance and the returns of other fan favorites are all celebrating 40 years and over 10,000 episodes of NBC's hit daytime drama.
