Definitely, Maybe – Ryan Reynolds Definitely, Maybe – Ryan Reynolds, This is a story about a guy who has a daughter that wants to hear the story about how her dad fell in love and married her mother. Will, played by Ryan Reynolds doesn’t want to give up the story as he says “it’s complicated.” His daughter Maya, played by Abigail Breslin, won’t take no for an answer. Knowing that his daughter has a right to know, not only because Will is about to be divorced from Maya’s mother but because he feels she is more than ready for the truth. As Will sits down to tell her the story he says that it is not only complicated but more people are involved than she realizes. Maya’s solution to this problem is to give the women in the story fake names to protect them. Will then states that she will have to figure out who her mother is among the characters. As the story unfolds Maya realizes that her dad might have made the wrong decision in marrying her mother, and that maybe it should have been someone else. This story is a cute movie, if you can keep up with all the characters involved. It even brought a tear to my eye a couple of times. Here are the mistakes I found. When Will goes to visit Summer, played by Rachel Weisz, Her at the time boy friend Hampton, played by Kevin Kline, opens the door to let Will in. When we first see Hampton his glasses are on but under his chin. Hampton adjusts his glasses and then turns his back on Will to let him in. When Hampton turns back around to face Will his glasses are back under his chin. When Summer is at the hospital with Hampton she has her right hand holding up her head. From behind we can see that she does not. When Will and April, played by Isla Fisher, get to the party, April turns around and takes Will’s tie off. As April loosens his shirt you can see that Will has a t-shirt underneath. Later when they are on the roof talking you can no longer see Will’s t-shirt. In the beginning of the movie Will says that he gets Maya on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Later after leaving the zoo he tells Maya that he will see her on Wednesday. Adorable story of a father and daughter faced with some tough choices. A little different but still very enjoyable. I recommend you give it a try. | Related Articles | Previous Features | Site Map
