Traditional Regencies

Hello, and welcome back! Fall has definitely settled in here, and I've needed a jacket to meet the school buses in the mornings. I suppose it's time to stock up on my teas and hot chocolates for the season now.

If you haven't stopped by the forum, you're missing out on the annual fall giveaway that just started this week. If you haven't even registered as a forum user yet, you can't participate at all, so hurry on over to check out the rules and details. In the meantime, I have the November Regencies here on my desk....

Lord Grafton's Promise Lord Grafton's Promise (Signet) by Jenna Mindel. With her new husband poisoned on their wedding day, Lucinda Bronwell's difficult life is about to become even more difficult. Douglas Arden, Earl of Grafton, has promised to take care of the new widow, despite what he thinks she might have done. This one is sweet and laced with just a touch of mystery.

My Lady Gamester My Lady Gamester (Signet) by Cara King is next, with Richard Stanton, Earl of Stoke, crossing paths in a gaming hall with Atalanta James, a most unusual young woman on a quest for vengeance. Maybe a bit too unusual for traditional Regency fans?

A Christmas Kiss and Winter Wonderland A Christmas Kiss and Winter Wonderland (Signet) by Elizabeth Mansfield rounds out the trio of Regencies for November, with a repackaged volume containing two of her holiday stories from years past, sure to delight fans who've just discovered her work.

Until next time, happy reading!
