Adding man’s best friend to your home usually adds an extra expense. You have to buy food, tags, dog supplies and more. However, your new addition doesn’t always have to mean new costs. There are lots of ways to get free stuff for your new friend.

If you don’t have internet access, you can write to dog food companies and ask for free samples. Send them a letter letting them know about your new addition and that you would like to try their products. Usually the companies will send you free samples and coupons on your next purchase.

Another big thing is dog training. I remember training my new puppy many years ago and I had to go to the library to check out books on dog training. These days you can find the same information online..for free! When you search for "free dog training" you will find a ton of websites displayed in the search engine results. You can find information on other important puppy information like housebreaking and crate training as well.

Not sure what type of food you want to feed your dog? There are many ways to get free samples of dog food. You can land some great samples of the more popular brands as well as organic dog foods. Usually you will need to complete a short form or survey to get the free sample. In addition you can usually get some additional coupons for later purchases.
