Many survivors suffer post-traumatic stress disorder and finding help can be so daunting.

"Many survivors want to heal and don't know how. We will create and maintain a user-friendly online encyclopedia that provides the resources needed on the journey of healing.
In response to the thousands of emails, cards, letters and phone calls that I received after Searching for Angela Shelton I decided to share my own personal journey of healing as I heal on all levels by starting the Survivor Manual. I believe that if all survivors start to heal and protect themselves as well as their children then we will Break the Cycle of abuse. The Survivor Manual exists to inspire and empower survivors and their loved ones to face all of their fears and move out of their victim roles and into becoming Warriors for the Movement."
