REVIEW: GREG FREWIN'S MAGIC THEATER
Guest Author - Dennis Regling

A Magic Theater Review

Wowsers! Where'd that tiger come from?
Saturday, November 5, 2005 I had the pleasure of visiting Greg Frewin's new magic theater in Niagara Falls, Canada. Greg is an international champion magician with many awards and TV performances to his credit. In May 2005, he opened his new theater.
My fiance and I had dinner, some wonderful prime rib at the theater before the show. The service was excellant and the staff friendly. The choices on the menu were limited but all looked great.
We were fortunate enough to get to the theater early and were seated right down front and center. We watched the show from the table where we ate. Comfortable seating, not crowded theater seats.

The show opens with Greg doing some wonderful dove productions. He also produces large parrots, and try as I might, I couldn't see where they were coming from. The dove act was my favorite part of the show.

Greg did some smaller stuff also, while interacting with the audience. Bills changing denomination, torn and restored newspapers and some rope magic. My fiance was most surprised to see Greg do an effect that she had just seen me perform the day before at an elementary school.

There were plenty of large stage illusions, too. Big boxes and disappearing and appearing girls and tigers. A fantastic levitation was introduced through music and the classic "Chinese Snowstorm" effect. Greg and his assistant also do a very fast and spectacular "Metamorphosis."

Greg used a big screen to show one of his wonderful death-defying escapes that he did for TV. All in all, a great dinner and a great show.

After the show, Greg and his staff greeted the patrons. Greg was very friendly and took time to talk to as many as he could. We were also allowed to have our picture taken with Greg's tiger.

I highly recommend a stop by the theater next time you are in the area. Thanks Greg for a wonderful memory.
