I caught a glance of Audrey the other day at Lucky and Elizabeth?s wedding and it brought back some memories. Rachel Ames started on General Hospital in 1964 the year before I graduated. She came to Port Charles to live with her sister Lucile March a nurse at General Hospital. She fell in love with Dr. Steve Hardy and eventually they were married. They wanted children badly, but for some reason she could not seem to get pregnant. She decided to go behind Steve?s back and have artificial insemination and finally became pregnant. Steve learned the baby wasn?t his when they were in the car and was so upset they had a wreck. Audrey lost the baby. She then left Steve and joined the service and went to Vietnam.

When she returned in 1969 she married Dr. Tom Baldwin who raped her. She became pregnant and left town, yet again.

I was thinking Elizabeth, Audrey?s granddaughter came to town to be with her sister Sarah. She was raped. She had artificial insemination, and she also miscarried.

I was just thinking did history repeats itself.
