Product Review - LoMásTV.
Such a funny, intelligent and useful way to learn and enjoy the Spanish language!! Maybe you think I'm exaggerating but... I've tried it and I like it!

Ok, I'll tell you... It is all about videos and television in Spanish; from music to soap operas, interviews, etc. The web page, as it is a web based activity, offers new videos on a weekly basis. By clicking on any of them you'll be taken to a new page were you can chose between dial-up or broadband. The load is fast, and in few seconds you will be watching and listening to the video.
And this is the best part: while watching the video you have the option to read, in subtitles, the words in Spanish and, if you also chose it, you can read the translation (in English) for it. When you don't want captions, you can always hide either one, the Spanish or the English, individually, or hide them both. If you think it is going too fast, you can make it go more slowly (and back to normal); you can rewind it; you can even click on any word and you'll get its translation.
And what about the game? Really good if you want to check your comprehension skills: listen and enter the missing word.

Every video description tells us the category in which it is included, the country of origin (as there are several Spanish 'accents' depending on the country / zone), it's length and a description.
Although you'll need to register to access all the content, you can always try it, as they offer the section "Free Demo" where you can watch, listen and test 4-5 videos (musical, soap operas and more).

In my opinion, this is a highly recommended product, not only for advanced Spanish students wanting to improve their Spanish skills, but also for beginners, who can use it to get used to all these Spanish accents and vocabularies.
