Suite Fantasy
Fever (Berkley) has two previously released stories in it by Christine Feehan, featuring her shapeshifters, and both of which I've reviewed here previously (Wild Rain and The Awakening), so I won't do it again, though I do recall liking both better than her Dark/Carpathian series of books.
All's Fair in Love and War: Athena's Tale (Signet Eclipse) by Alicia Fields is out now, the next in her 'Goddesses' series. I have not enjoyed the previous books in this series (and long instead for the next in P.C. Cast's 'Goddess' series), and this one has not swayed me either but sent me digging through my mythology shelf for the old myths.
Suite Fantasy (Signet Eclipse) by Janice Maynard rounds things out this time with a trilogy of steamy stories sure to delight any fan of real erotic romance. This one reminds me of the way Brava started out, and what I'd hoped to see in the new Aphrodisia line--hot stories that aren't too clinical and that keep the romance well-written as well. I'm very much looking forward to seeing what Ms. Maynard has coming up next. This one gets four of Cupid's five arrows.
