Bound and Determined

Hello, and welcome back! It's been rather a long week here with some extra hours at work, but I did still manage some reading time. Now if only someone else would cook tonight.... Well, that won't happen, but before I have to figure out something for dinner, I have a few new books to share with you.

A Tangled Web A Tangled Web (Signet) by Amanda McCabe is the sole new Regency release for February. The Dowager Viscountess Ransome's summer house party is her way of entertaining herself. For her guests, who're all falling for the wrong people, it may not be as amusing. This one is pretty tangled, but I feel certain Regency fans will be entertained by this tale.

The Education of Lady Frances and Miss Cresswell's London Triumph The Education of Lady Frances and Miss Cresswell's London Triumph (Signet) by Evelyn Richardson has two of her older books collected in one volume, for Regency fans who may have missed these the first time around. And, probably for fans who'll be out of luck as far as new Regencies go in the next month or two.

Bound and Determined Bound and Determined (Berkley Sensation) by Shelley Bradley is up last this time, with Kerry Sullivan kidnapping the one man she's sure can help her brother, Rafe Dawson. This one is long on steam, short on story, but if you're just looking for a sexy book, you might not care. I wanted to like this one a lot more than I did, and while I didn't hate it, it's not a keeper either. I'm giving it three of Cupid's five arrows, but that's mostly because I'm in a good mood.

Until next time, happy reading!
