Rex will end up on Todd’s bad side (does Manning have a good side?) when he learns that Tommy is really Todd Jr. A health crisis leads Marcie and Michael to search for any living blood relative. Adrianna tells Marcie the truth. The thought of Tommy’s death is more terrifying to Marcie than having to hand him over to Todd. She pleads with Todd to save the boy. Todd refuses. “My son is dead, why should I help you save yours?” She then turns to Blair, confides what Adrianna told her and begs for help. DNA proves Tommy is Todd Jr. When the crisis is over, the McBains’s have to give him back. Their sorrow is tempered a bit by the discovery that Marcie is pregnant with twins.

Defying their parent’s wishes, Cole and Starr begin to secretly date. His voluntary decision to attend anger management classes even wins over Langston, who helps to hide the relationship. Of course, Starr won’t be able to hide it for long. When she learns she is pregnant, she will have no choice but to let the relationship he known. Starr opts to keep the baby after seeing the pain her parents went through over the loss of their unborn child. She and Cole decide o get married, but make it very clear to their parents that they will raise the child together. Todd, Blair, and Marty have to find a way to get along, for the sake of their grandchild.

Dorian finally gets her wish – Rex ends his relationship with Adrianna. Though, she told the truth about Todd Jr. only to save his life. Rex feels he can no longer trust Adrianna. He beings to grow closer to Layla. After catching her best friend and her ex in a passionate kiss, Adrianna is forced to admit the relationship is over. She turns to Vincent for comfort. To everyone’s surprise – and Dorian’s utter horror – the beauty and the criminal fall in love.

Dorian doesn’t fair much better in her own love life. Clint announces the London office of BE is in a crisis that Kevin can’t handle alone. He flies out temporarily to help. Dorian decides it is a good time to check on Kelly and Zane – after all, if Kevin is busy with BE, Kelly is probably lonely. While in London , she figures it won’t hurt to surprise Clint at his hotel. Instead, Dorian gets the surprise. After skydiving in the English countryside, Clint and Vikki have gone back to the hotel to make love.

While Cris is looking forward to marriage, Antonio’s is falling apart. He learns of Jessica’s romp with Nash and turns to Claudia for comfort.

A new man comes to Llanview. An art lover, he makes Lindsey’s acquaintance. As a defense attorney, he crosses paths with Nora. The claws are out as both women vie for his attention.
