Some people do not think Photography qualifies as Clip Art. I am of the camp that thinks it does.
Stock images are photographs that have generic uses, that is, they can be used in a multiple of topics. Professional stock images are those that have licensing fees can be purchased. The fees cover things like whether or not you can use them commercially.
Advertising departments, publishers and graphic artists purchase stock images, especially when deadlines or timelines are a priority.
Stock images are good for things like newsletters and breaking up text in articles. They add interest to the story.
Images of flowers and plants give out feelings of things natural, peaceful and environmental.
People through the ages have been enamored of flowers and gardens. What better thing to do on a good day, than to take a stroll with your camera to increase the size of your clipart library?
You can crop your images, select portions from them and use transforming methods to be used as clip art. Follow your manual to get them onto your machine. From there, resize them for your uses in your graphics program. A bigger photo might do for a greeting card, while a smaller one might be suitable for a newsletter or article.
It is your own personal view of any subject that will make your clipart or stock images original. Flowers, plants and gardens have been the inspiration of many artful pursuits.
