Printable Carnival Masks

Here are some activity ideas for the Carnival Masks article.

You can resize them to fit your face by selecting and transforming in your graphics program. Print onto card and colour them in with your computer or with any media you fancy.

You could decorate them with glitter, beads and feathers or any number of scrapbooking accessories like brads, rhinestones and stickers.

These kind of masks look wonderful with dimensional decoration. Try things like wire fashioned into spirals or other designs.

Don’t forget to attach a stick and add ribbons for a feel of movement and mystery.

Printed smaller on paper or thin card, these are great embellishments for scrapbooking pages and art projects.

Have all embellishments at the ready and use them for these occasions:
Balls
Masquerades
Birthday Parties
Hen Night Activity
Themed Parties

Young Ideas
Princess Party – Print out paper masks and have your Princess and her friends decorate them.

A Series of Masks to Hang On Walls
Trace the basic design onto corrugated or thick cardboard and cut out. Cut out pleasing shapes from corrugated or thick cardboard to decorate and stick them to the mask base. A gluestick is just fine. Try another layer of smaller cardboard shapes. Paint the whole thing black. Acrylic paint is good for this. When dry, dab the mask with a small sponge dipped in gold paint. Add any embellishments when dry.
These look fantastic.

Here are two pages of printable masks to have fun with. Click on the images to download.
