On May 31, 2006, the singer, Jewel will be singing two songs on the Young and the Restless. She will be performing for Cassie's Challenge. This is a charity event to honor the death of Cassie Newman.

Cassie was a character on the show that died from a car accident. Her parents, Nick and Sharon, have been struggling with her loss. They even resulted in finding comfort in other intimate relationships.

Nick and Sharon are trying to find their way, and maybe back to each other.
